This bundle brings together the best of both worlds, offering a taste sensation that is both sophisticated and explosively flavorful. Perfect for special occasions or any day you want to make extraordinary, our Spicy Sichuan Chili Butter Lobster Tails & Wasabi Yuzu Lobster Rolls bundle will have you savoring every bite. Preparation Instructions

Inside Box: Lobster Tails, Sichuan Chili Butter

What To Get: Fresh Scallions, Cilantro, Lemon

Preparation:

  1. Defrost frozen lobster tail under running water or in the refrigerator over 24 hours.
  2. Split tails in halves with a chef’s knife, clean out any grit under running water, pat dry.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  4. Season the lobster meat in its shell with a light pinch of salt. Place lobsters on a lined sheet pan.
  5. Warm up the Sichuan chili butter in a sauce pot. Mix well and spoon some onto the lobster.
  6. Place lobsters into the oven and let it roast for 6-8 minutes.
  7. Allow the lobsters to rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
  8. Spoon the Sichuan chili butter over the lobster tails or serve it on the side with lemon.
  9. (Optional) Thinly slice scallions and cilantro to add extra fresh herbs to the dish.

Receiving Frozen Products

When you receive a food item marked “Keep Refrigerated” or “Perishable,” open it immediately and check its temperature. The food should arrive frozen or partially frozen with ice crystals still visible or at least refrigerator cold — below 40 °F as measured with a food thermometer.

Thawing Instructions

Always thaw lobster tails if they are frozen. The most effective way to do this is by placing them in the refrigerator for 24 hours prior to cooking. If you need them faster, you can thaw at room temp for a few hours, and if you need them right away thaw under running cold water.

Storage Instructions

Store in the freezer until you're ready to use/thaw for immediate use. It's best to keep the tails in their original packaging (not including the shipping box) or transfer them to airtight freezer bags to prevent freezer burn and maintain freshness.

Make sure your freezer temperature is set to 0°F (-18°C) or below to keep the lobster tails properly frozen. Items frozen can typically remain safe to eat for up to 6 to 12 months. However, the quality may begin to decline over time, so we recommend using them within the first few months of purchase for the best taste and texture.

Grill Up Some Spicy Sichuan Lobster Tails!

Wild Caught in Maine

Our customer-fave 4-5 ounce Maine Lobster Tails are famous for their extra sweet & tender meat, thanks to the ice-cold, nutrient-rich Maine waters where they're caught. When you crack open one of these tails, you're getting a taste of the best that Maine's coast has to offer!

Addictively Delicious

Exclusive Sichuan chili butter was inspired by Momofuku’s iconic summertime seafood boils! You can brush, drizzle or dip this Sichuan chili butter onto the lobster meat. We recommend adding some chopped herbs or scallions to round it all out.

Culinary Creativity, Maine’s Finest Catch

Alongside Momofuku’s legendary culinary team, we’ve developed easy-to-prepare meal kits bursting with flavor and heat, both taking inspiration from Momofuku’s award-winning restaurants and recipes. Have You Experienced Momofuku?

Momofuku was founded by chef David Chang in 2004 with the opening of Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York City. Credited with “the rise of contemporary Asian-American cuisine” by the New York Times and named the “most important restaurant in America” by Bon Appétit magazine, Momofuku has restaurants in the United States as well as a line of restaurant-grade products for home cooks.

WILD CAUGHT BY HAND, SUSTAINABLY HARVESTED

Sustainability efforts of the Maine Lobster fishery began in 1872, when the first law was passed to protect the resource for future generations. Maine lobsters are hand-harvested from small day boats & caught one trap at a time with strict requirements on size & breeding status. We’re proud to be part of this heritage.

Flash Frozen At Peak Freshness, State-Of-The-Art Nitrogen Technology

Nitrogen is the quickest and most modern method of freezing - taking as little as 18 minutes - and preserves the fresh natural flavor & texture of lobster like no other. All of our frozen items are carefully flash-frozen at peak freshness for you.
