At Get Maine Lobster, we take enormous pride in every box we ship — from the moment it leaves our dock in Maine to the moment it arrives at your door. 

Shipping & Delivery Times

All Get Maine Lobster orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx. Most carriers deliver between 8 AM and 10 PM local time, and while we work hard to ensure your order arrives on your selected delivery date, shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

To ensure your seafood arrives in peak condition for special occasions, we recommend selecting a delivery date at least two days before your event. Most items can be safely refrigerated or frozen upon arrival.

During high-volume periods — especially around holidays — your order may ship early to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Get Maine Lobster reserves the right to adjust delivery schedules as needed to protect product quality and account for carrier conditions.

Transit Delays

While we go above and beyond to safeguard the shipping process, some factors are outside our control once a package is in the hands of our carriers.
Delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • Weather or natural disasters
  • High carrier volume or mechanical issues
  • Strikes or regional disruptions
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information

Get Maine Lobster can not be held responsible for transit delays caused by these circumstances. Our commitment remains ensuring your order arrives safely and in the best possible condition, even when timelines shift.

Signature Requirements

In most cases, no signature is required for delivery — allowing your package to be left at your address at the discretion of the delivery driver.
Please note: Get Maine Lobster is not responsible for missed deliveries due to absence for required signatures.

Address Changes & Reroutes

Please double-check your shipping information before submitting your order.
If a delivery address change is needed after shipment, a $19 carrier processing fee will apply and may result in a 1-business-day delay. We cannot guarantee rerouting success once a package is in transit.

We’re unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, and returns, refunds, or cancellations are not available once an order has shipped or entered fulfillment.

**IMPORTANT: If you know that your physical address has access restrictions by one or more of these carriers, message customer service before you order.

The Tracking Number for your shipment will be emailed to you on the evening your order is picked up by the carrier and scanned into their system.

NOTE: There is a good chance the delivery driver will NOT knock upon arrival; although we request that they knock. Check often and refer to your tracking # status.

Holiday Shipping Schedule 2026

In observance of the many National Holidays and our shipping carrier's schedules, we will not be shipping orders for delivery on the following dates;

  • Sunday April 5th (Easter)
  • Saturday May 9th (Day before Mother's Day)
  • Sunday May 10th (Mother’s Day)
  • Monday May 25th (Memorial Day)
  • Tuesday May 26th (Day after Memorial Day)
  • Saturday June 20th (Day before Father's Day)
  • Sunday June 21st (Father's Day)
  • Saturday July 4th (Independence Day)
  • Monday September 7th (Labor Day)
  • Tuesday September 8th (Day after Labor Day)
  • Thursday November 26th (Thanksgiving Day)
