From storage to cooking, we’re here to guide you through your live lobster experience. Explore our FAQs below!

Can I schedule a specific delivery date for live lobster?

Absolutely! You can choose your preferred delivery date during checkout. We'll time it just right so your live lobsters arrive fresh and lively; perfect for your celebration, dinner party, or spontaneous seafood feast.

How are live lobsters shipped to ensure freshness?

We ship our live lobsters in specially insulated packaging with cold gel packs to maintain the right temperature during transit. Each box is carefully packed to ensure your lobsters arrive alive, healthy, and ready to cook.

How do I store live lobster before cooking?

For the best experience, we recommend cooking your live lobsters the same day they arrive. If needed, you can keep them in the refrigerator, covered with damp paper towels, for an additional day. Just don’t seal them in plastic - they need air to breathe. We suggest savoring them as soon as possible to ensure optimal freshness and flavor.

How long will the lobster stay fresh after delivery?

For the best quality and flavor, we recommend cooking your live lobsters the same day they arrive. While they can survive overnight if properly stored, we always suggest cooking them right away to capture that sweet, ocean-fresh taste.

What sizes of live lobster do you offer?

We offer a range of sizes from 1 lb to 1.7 lbs. Smaller lobsters are tender and perfect for individual servings, while larger ones are great for sharing or impressing guests with a classic Maine-style seafood dinner.
