Every December for the past decade, something special has happened on our dock.
While the rest of the world gears up for holiday chaos, our team at Union Wharf gathers in the crisp winter air, bundled up against the Atlantic breeze, and kicks off a tradition that means the world to us: Random Acts of Kindness.
What started 10 years ago as a small way to surprise customers quickly turned into a month-long celebration of generosity — little gifts tucked into boxes, unexpected upgrades, handwritten notes, and heartfelt moments shared with you all across the country.
It’s become our favorite part of the year. And this year, we wanted to do something big — something worthy of our 10-year milestone. So we brought back one of our most joyful traditions…with a fun twist.

From now through December, we’re slipping one Golden Lobster into one Get Maine Lobster box per day.

It’s simple — and that’s the fun of it. Every day from December 3rd through December 23rd, we will randomly select one box and add a GOLDEN LOBSTER to the box.
