Lee get real, people make mistakes. unless you don’t. i understand if they can’t give the mistake price. no i will not judge a company by an honest mistake. I have not bought from this company before, just checking what they have and there sales. So i new too. This mistake does not bother me. I can understand why they did not answer you.

Quesiton 1: Like Deb, just bought an Amazon deal. I am also disappointed I may not be able to use it on one of the Lobon deals. What I would really like is a lobster dinner for 2, with 4 live lobsters, 2 crab cakes, and a quart of chowder. This is available as a Lobon deal but if I price everything out separately, I don’t even see an option for getting just 2 crab cakes to add to a lobster dinner.

Did anyone get an answer to the question if Groupon, Amazon, Social Living and any other discount coupons that a reputable can be used with Lobons and why not on specials? Is the idea to get new customers for such a luxury items? To most of us these special occasions and the coupons really help.

Really disappointing that six people have asked about groupons or amazon deals from October thru January and no one from the company has replied. Why have a forum if questions will not be answered?
I see the same thing as you. Not responding with a comment(any comment) is ignoring the question and the person asking the question..Not good business manners. If all else fails call them and speak to someone one on one…just my thoughts on the matter..
JG, our apologies for the delay. We have no excuse, except we got in the mode of emails and calls and failed to execute on the forum.
I’m looking at my Amazon vocher and it says on there that it is NOT good with any other discounts….I’m not from the company, but from what I’m reading the answer is NO. My guess is that there is only one coupon code aloud at checkout…so Amazon vocher # or one of the other site offered codes. The amazon offer basically gives you 50% off your $200 order so it seems to be better than most of the other offer dicsounts.
My question is, I’m wanting to order for one person (my boyfriend ~I don’t eat seafood), can I order alla~card? like one lobster tail, 2 crab cakes, etc? they all seem to be larger packages deals for 2-6 people.
Also just a side note, everytime I click on a new product, it emptys my shopping cart…Very Frustrating

Please read the voucher/groupon deals as it specifically states there are restrictions and the getmainelobster.com website also clarifies if they can or cannot be used underneath the “special” price for each particular item. The vouchers are not to be used with “specials”. If they would it would truly be a “steal”. I too just purchased today the $200 for $100. The specials offered are a HUGE discount and just keep the $100 certificate for use at a later time and truly take advantage of a wonderful deal’s offered. =) Can’t wait to receive the Superior Lobster Bake *which alone is a $100 savings…so there you go…if you take advantage of this deal it is a better deal and can also have it shipped by Valentines Day!
